Steeton Res were left to rue conceeding two early goals tonight, when they went down 3-0 at Campion. The Summerhill Lane side found themselves 2-0 down after ten minutes and a further strike saw the Bradford side run out 3-0 winners.
The 1st team entertain Kirkburton at Summerhill Lane in a 2.30 kick off.

Steeton produced an excellent 3-2 win at Ovenden on Wednesday. A double from Jamie Longley and a late Graham Holmes strike saw Steeton chalk up a well deserved win.
The reserves are in action tonight when they face Campion Res at Scotchman Road. Kick off is 6.15
opener ends level
Steeton returned to life in the Premier Divsion with a 1-1 draw against Ovenden. James Bailey put Steeton ahead just before half time. But the lead didn't last long and Ovenden levelled with Paul Gregory headed home at the far post.
Both teams had chances to win the game and Bailey shaved the post and Graham Holmes hit the bar, at the other end Jack Ogalbe cleared off the line and keeper, Paul Linyard made a superb double save to keep the scores level

A late Ashley Hoskin free kick won the game for the ex.pros as Burnley's Vintage Clarets beat Steeton 2-1. In a close game both sides played some fine football with John Mullin grabbing the opener, Graham Holmes then levelled before Hoskins late strike.
The Juniors opened the day with a 15-2 win over Bradford Tigers

vintage clarets game
Steeton entertain a Vintage Clarets side on Sunday. Kick off is 3.00pm at Summerhill Lane.
The Burnley squad includes the likes of Chris Brass, Robbie Painter, Roger Eli, Liam Robinson, Chris Pearce, Chris Scott, Paul Scott, Paul Atkinson, Ashley Hoskin, Andy Farrell, John Mullen, Craig Mawson, Gerry Harrison, Graham Lancashire, Lenny Johnrose, Jonathan Irvine, Ian Britton and John Francis.
Cost is £5.00 for Adults, £2.00 for U16's and U5's free. Programmes will be on sale at £1.00.
Please note that there will be no parking on the ground. The official car parks will be Steeton Transport Cafe and Echostar. Please can all supporters use these.

The first team also have a game on the Saturday when they entertain Oakwell at Summerhill Lane with a 2.30pm kick off.
