Steeton through to county cup final!

Fri 04 Apr 2014

Steeton created history last night after beating Goole United 1-0 in the County Cup semi final at Woodlesford.

Backed by a 200 plus Chevron Army, Steeton took the lead after 21 minutes. Graham Holmes was hauled down in the box and Michael Rhodes confidently desptached the resulting penalty. Danny McNulty then hit the post and Phil Rishton produced a couple of great saves.

We now face Fields in the final at Elland Road on Monday 19th May. Kick off is 19.30.

Change of headquarters

Sun 30 Mar 2014

Due to the sudden closure of the Old Star this week, the club have been forced into moving headquarters. As from now the club will be run from The Goats Head.

We would like to thank Gill and Jason for all their support over the past eighteen months and we wish them both all the best for the future.

The club was very grateful to Craig, the landlord of the Goats Head,  for stepping in a short notice to put food on for us after the Littletown game in Saturday.

We look forward to working together as focal points of the community.

Tickets for the coach trip to Woodlesford can be bought from the Goats Head now as can club scarves.

As the semi final approaches we can confirm that we are now only selling tickets from the following venues. The Goats Head, Keighley Liberal Club and Steeton Newsagents.
