The Under 18 side last night added the league cup to the league title we won last month. Tom Leach struck the opening goal within the first two minutes, however Steeton had to wait before they could add a second as Sam Fox cooly finished with twenty minutes remaining.
It has been a great achievement by John Mortimer and the lads.

Dom Mortimer struck twice and Alistair Morgan grabbed a far post header to ensure Steeton finished off their home campaign with a victory. Despite both teams fielding a lot of reserve players there was a lot of good football on show.
The first team went down 2-1 to champions elect Golcar United. Despite a strong display a late goal from the hosts was enough to see them move a step closer to the title.
Lee Reilly struck a penalty after Graham Holmes had been bundled over in the box to level things up after Golcar took an early lead.
The reserves went down 2-0 to Westbrook.
