Andy Foster has this week decided to step down from his role as manager of Steeton Reserves

Andy took over the reins midway through the 2014/15 season after Clark O'Dwyer left the club. In his time as manager he has won three Keighley Supplementary finals and also guided the club to seventh position in the West Riding County Amateur League Premier Division, following the first team's promotion to the North West Counties.

In his time, Andy has also helped with the progression of young players such as Andy Briggs, Ben Clarkson, Joe Mason, Alistair Morgan, Toby Jeffrey and Freddie Maddocks step up to the first team.

The club would like to thank Andy for all his efforts during his time as manager and also we are pleased that he will be staying at the club and working behind the scenes to keep driving us forward.

The reserves assistant manager, Andy Howland has also decided to stand down as he wishes to continue his playing career and we thank Andy for all his hard work and wish him all the best for the future.

With the reserve team moving to the Yorkshire Amateur League next season, the hunt is now on for a new management team and the club is looking for suitable candidates and any interested parties are asked to register their interest with first-team manager, Roy Mason via email at mason@steetonafc.co.uk
